International Harvesters (Don and Angelina Boots)

We will have been married for 40 years in December (Christmas Day,actually), 2021, and in ministry for a little longer. We have been blessed with four sons, two daughters-in-law and six grandchildren.

Our defining verse is 2 Timothy 2:2  “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” We feel called to give our lives to“train leaders to train leaders”, to work ourselves out of a job, wherever we find ourselves.

We have been credentialed with the Foursquare Gospel Church, WA, since 1990 – the first 15 years as the pastors of ARK Christian Center (out in Armadale, Roleystone, Kelmscott), then the last 15 as mid-term missionaries for the denomination.

We have been blessed over that period to work with our Foursquare brothers and sisters in Malaysia (our major sphere of work), Solomon Islands, Singapore, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Through the years, we have been supported by 5one4 Church, International Harvesters, Katanning Foursquare Church and Foursquare WA head office.

Obviously, with the coronavirus pandemic, we haven’t been able to travel overseas for the last 18 months and it has been a time of readjusting and learning for us.
Thankfully, we have been able to stay connected, and have continued to minister through new mediums like Zoom and Whatsapp, as well as  regular phone calls and emails.

Through the years we have had the privilege to get get to know and develop friendships with lots of people. We have seen God work signs  and wonders as the gospel is preached, and we give him all the glory for this.

Even now, it is still amazing to us to see how God brings connections, fellowship and love across the globe; we still love teaching, training,  serving, pastoring, and doing whatever God asks us to do; wherever he opens the door, we are willing to walk through it. As such, there is no retirement plan ahead of us – we plan to serve God with all our hearts until he calls us home to him, one day!
