Welfare
Many Foursquare WA churches engage in local Missions. These endeavours include ‘Swags for the Homeless’ and individual church welfare programs, inclusive of Foodbank food parcel distribution for people in need.
During the Christmas season and at other times of identified need, some Foursquare WA churches distribute food parcels and gifts to communities in need, rural communities and women’s refuges. Also at Christmas we contribute to Samaritan’s Purse gift boxes for children.

Youth
Foursquare youth is overseen by the General Supervisor and a Youth leadership committee of youth leaders from various Foursquare WA churches. Each year an annual youth camp occurs, attended by Foursquare WA youth from many urban and rural churches: The Board of Directors financially support this camp. This camp is a forum for identifying future leadership and encouraging youth from the churches to intermix, support each other and share resources. It gives youth an opportunity to minister to each other.

Foursquare men
Some Foursquare churches have dedicated men’s ministries which may have a specific focus: A men’s shed format, bible study & prayer, men’s breakfasts [to build relationships], Pure Desire [sexual integrity] or other formats like mentoring relationships by agreement.

Foursquare women
Some Foursquare Churches have dedicated women’s ministries which may have a specific focus: young mothers, bible study, craft-based, or hospitality & visitation. Some Foursquare church women attend other denomination’s women’s conferences. A Foursquare ladies camp, held every 2 years, is a special event and is much anticipated.

Home groups
Most Foursquare Churches run small groups that meet in people’s homes; they may also be called ‘Connect groups’.
This is a way of building relationship, mutual support and engaging in Bible study, prayer and inviting community members into Christian fellowship in a more informal way than a church service.

Training and Development
Energise College is an initiative of the Board of Directors of The Church of the Foursquare Gospel in Australia Inc. It was established for the purpose of training and equipping the next generation of Foursquare pastors and ministry leaders. In 2021, the Board agreed to partner with Alphacrucis College to create a custom-built learning environment with delivery commencing in 2022. Energise is an integral strand within the Board’s three-strand approach to emerging leaders’ pathways.
The Church of the Foursquare Gospel encourages ongoing ministry education and encourages Bible College attendance. Some Churches within Foursquare have helped students in Bible College or ministry education to fund some of their course cost. The Board of Directors have set-up a training and development fund to assist upcoming leaders.
Also within Foursquare WA churches there are many gifted people: academics, theologians, humanities lecturers, pastors, chaplains, teachers, counsellors, psychologists, social workers, medical professionals, a sexologist, various business leaders, many gifted musicians, journalists, past missionaries, current missionaries, students, web-designers, etc. They may be available for professional development in other churches via inquiry.
